Singapore, 10 December 2008 -- Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel) today announced the resignation of Mr Quek Peck Leng, Executive Vice President, Consumer, with effect from 31 March 2009.

Peck Leng joined Singtel in December 2006. During these two years, Peck Leng has helped to improve Singtel’s market position in the Consumer segment in Singapore.

“We thank Peck Leng for his contribution to the Singapore business and we would like to extend our best wishes for his future endeavours,” said Mr Allen Lew, CEO Singapore.

An announcement regarding a successor will be made in due course.
