Singtel senior executives meet Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva 

 

Singapore, 1 February 2011 – Senior executives of Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel), led by Group Chief Executive Officer, Ms Chua Sock Koong, met with Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva today, to discuss developments in the telecommunications industry in Thailand.

 

Singtel has been a long-term strategic investor in Advanced Info Service (AIS), Thailand’s leading mobile operator, since 1999. During the meeting, Ms Chua and Mr Allen Lew, Singtel CEO Singapore, thanked the Prime Minister for the opportunity to meet him and expressed appreciation for his attention to the developments in the telecommunications industry and his assurance that there will be fair treatment for all operators.
