Singtel TV teams up with beIN SPORTS to air UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League

Singapore, 1 October, 2018 – Singtel TV announced today that it has reached an agreement with beIN SPORTS to air the live matches of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, which are among the world’s most prestigious football competitions.

UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League are available on Singtel TV as part of the World Sports+ add-on pack, as well as the Action Trio, Variety and Value packs. With the inclusion of UEFA competitions, Premier League, FA Cup, EFL, Dutch Eredivisie and Chinese Super League, Singtel TV offers viewers the most comprehensive line-up of football content.

UEFA Champions League represents the pinnacle of football in Europe. Among the 32 elite clubs qualified are the top four of the continent’s best leagues including Spain, Germany, England and Italy. Defending champion Real Madrid is the most successful club in the competition with a record 13 wins since it started in 1955.

UEFA Europa League is the biggest European club football competition in geographical scale and number of matches. Among the 48 competing teams are two clubs from each of the top leagues of Spain, Germany, England, Italy and France. The UEFA Europa League was last won by Atletico Madrid, while the most successful club is Sevilla with five titles since the competition started in 1971.
