REACHING OUT TO OUR YOUNG ONES

"I AM A YOUNG IT WHIZ" BADGE PROGRAMME

Students and even pre-schoolers are spending more and more time online. They can be digitally savvy and competent to use any mobile device. Yet they remain naive for example when it comes to online stranger danger simply because of their maturity level.

 

Singtel is proud to support Science Centre Singapore's Young Scientist Badge scheme's "I am a Young IT WHIZ" targeted at Primary 4 students.

 

The IT WHIZ card is a good way to promote the message of safe and responsible use of online technology to primary school students using informal science learning. The card allows students to select a series of activities focusing on IT literacy and cyber wellness, allowing them to earn an IT WHIZ badge.
