Peh Eng Seng

Peh Eng Seng | 白荣盛 (b. 1940, Singapore) is a second generation artist who is widely regarded as one of Singapore’s most established watercolourists. He is known for his realistic and atmospheric paintings of landscapes and seascapes. He paints en plein air and often travels to seek out places that have not been altered by urban development. Peh’s travels have included China, India, Malaysia and the United Kingdom. 

Peh is a graduate of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (1964). He has exhibited locally in solo and group exhibitions. His work has also exhibited at several art competitions include the UOB Painting of the Year (1984 to 1986), the Australian Art Award (1985) and the IBM Art Award (1987). Peh has received commendations for his entries for the IBM Art Award and the UOB Painting of the Year.

Peh’s works are in the collections of Singtel, the National Gallery, Singapore, and other public and corporate art collections.
