Thinh Le

Thinh Le (b. 1964, Saigon, Vietnam) is a photographer known for his panoramas that depict cities, cityscapes and light play. He makes use of kaleidoscopes and mirrors to take single exposure shots. He also shoots with a 360-degree panoramic camera to better capture the rhythm of the city.

Thinh Le immigrated to the United States of America in 1981 where he later graduated from the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Architecture in 1998. Thinh Le’s works have been shown in both solo and group exhibitions in Vietnam, France and the USA. This includes his solo exhibition, Hanoi Panoramas (2001) at Salon Natasha in Hanoi, Vietnam. His group exhibitions include Hanoi, Dans Le Cycle des Metamorphoses (2001), Paris; Urbanscapes (2002), Laguna Beach, California, and Vietnam Now and Then (2002), Washington D.C.
