  1. Why do I need to pre-register for the new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X?
    We are aware of the strong interest for the new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. Pre-registering will help us ensure that we can get your iPhone to you as soon as possible. In addition, pre-registering will allow us to keep you informed on latest updates and promotions for the new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.
  2. Will pre-registering guarantee an iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X?
    Sorry, we're afraid not. Pre-registering will allow us to keep you informed on latest updates and promotions relating to the launch of the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X with Singtel. 
  3. I have multiple mobile lines under my company. Can I pre-register for all of them?
    You can pre-register once using your company details for up to 2 devices online. We will keep you updated on the next steps to getting your iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. 
  4. Can I amend or transfer my pre-registration details to another person?
    Sorry, we are afraid not. Pre-registration details cannot be amended or transferred. You may wish to advise the individual to pre-register with his/her details to receive latest updates on how to reserve and purchase the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.
  5. I have pre-registered for iPhone 8 but would like to purchase a different model instead. Do I need to pre-register again?
    Pre-registering once is adequate. You can indicate your preferred model when reservations opens. 
  6. I have successfully pre-registered. However, I did not receive any email confirmation subsequently?
    The confirmation email may have been redirected to your junk folder, kindly check your junk or spam folder. 
  7. If I did not pre-register, will I still be able to make a reservation and purchase the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus or iPhone X?
    Sorry, we are afraid not. No worries, you can still purchase the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X via our sales hotline (1800 763 1111), online at business.singtelshop.com by walking in to any Singtel Shop, when island-wide sales commence. 
  8. I am currently on the 6th month of my device contract. Am I eligible to re-contract and how much will the Early Device Upgrade Fee be?

    Yes, you can upgrade your device after completing at least the first six (6) months of your current two (2) years Device Agreement.

     

    An Early Device Upgrade Fee applies as follows:

    • For customers who have completed between 6-11 months of their contract: $500

    • For customers who have completed between 12-17 months of their contract: $350

    • For customers who have completed between 18-20 months of their contract: $200.

     

  9. I would like to re-contract and purchase the iPhone 8, 8 Plus or iPhone X. How can I check my eligibility?

    You can check your re-contract eligibility via the following methods:

     

    a) My Singtel App (select ‘View My Plan’)

    For those who have not downloaded the app, kindly do download it from Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

     

    b) *1688 

    - Dial *1688 on your mobile phone.

    - Reply with option '2' to check your handset upgrade eligibility.

    - A reply via SMS will be sent to your mobile phone shortly. 

     

  10. What are the available colours and storage sizes for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X?
    iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available in 3 colours (Gold, Silver and Space Grey) at launch. iPhone X will be available in 2 colours (Silver, Space Grey) at launch
  11. What are the storage sizes available for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X Plus at launch?
    iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X will come in two storage sizes, 64GB and 256GB at launch.
  12. When will Singtel release the pricings of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X Plus?

  13. When will the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X be available for sale island-wide?
    More details on island-wide sales will be shared at a later date. 
  14. Can I purchase the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X at recommended retail price (RRP) without any mobile contract?
    Purchase of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X are only available with a 24-month contract at launch. We will keep you informed on our iPhone bulletin when they are available for RRP purchase. 
  15. What kind of SIM card does the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X require? Will there be any SIM card charges?
    The iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X use Nano SIMs. Change of SIM will be required for existing Singtel Mobile customers who are on a regular/micro-SIM card. Prevailing SIM card charges of $37.45 apply. 
  16. How can I transfer my existing contacts to the new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X?

    Yes, you can trade in your mobile phone at prevailing trade-in prices to offset the price of your new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. Please be reminded to bring along your old device with any other accessories that form the basic phone package.
