Q. What are the new XO 48/ 78/ 108 plans?

A. The new Singtel XO 48, 78 and 108 plans come with bigger data bundles and a new handset at attractive prices. A device agreement term of 24 months applies.

Q. Who is eligible to sign up?

A. All Business Segment customers are eligible to sign-up for XO plans. 

Q. Can I share my XO plan bundle with MobileShare supplementary lines?

A. Yes. XO plans are eligible to have up to 3 MobileShare supplementary lines to share local data and local talktime/SMS bundle.

Q. What are the charges if I use more than my XO plan’s local data bundle?

A. If you use more than your monthly local data bundle, excess data usage is charged at $18 for every 18GB block and capped at $188/month. 

Q. Is the excess local data usage shareable with MobileShare?

A. Yes. All excess local data usage is shareable with all MobileShare supplementary lines tied under the main line.

Q. What data add-ons can I sign up for?

Q. Am I able to sign up for DATA X?

A. Subscribers of XO plans are not eligible to sign up for DATA X add-ons. This applies to DATA X 2/ 3/ 4/ INFINITY.

Q. If I am on a Combo plan with an existing DATA X add-on within contract, can I still change my plan to a XO plan?

A. Yes, you may do so. Please note that charges will apply for downgrade in plan. The remaining contract charges for any DATA X 2/ 3/ 4 add-on will be waived for any plan upgrades to XO plans. Any remaining contract charges for DATA X INFINITY add-on is chargeable for any successful change in plan.

Q. Are XO plans eligible for Singtel Business Circle benefits?

A.  XO plans (including Combo XO) may be nominated as a line count towards the total Mobile lines for the purpose of determining the applicable Mobile discounts on eligible discount lines. 

Q. If I am on an existing postpaid plan with Singtel Business Circle benefits (keyline/ non-keyline), can I still change my plan or recontract to the XO Plans?

A. Yes, you may do so. Please note that as XO plans are not eligible for keyline benefits, all keyline benefits will automatically cease once you have successfully changed your plan or recontracted to XO 48, 78 and 108 plans.

Q. Can I enjoy Singtel WiFi with XO Plans?

A. No, Singtel WiFi is not offered on XO 48, 78 and 108 plans.

Free Weekend Local Data

Q. Who can enjoy free weekend local data?

A. Customers who sign up for our big data XO plans – XO 48, XO 78, XO 108 – can enjoy free weekend local mobile data from 12am on Saturdays to 11.59pm on Sundays. 

Q. I am an existing XO customer. Will I enjoy free weekend local data?

A. Free local data on weekends will roll out progressively to all XO customers (including existing Combo XO customers). Together with other existing XO customers, you will be able to enjoy free weekend data from 31 Aug 2019 onwards.

Q. What happens to my free weekend local data if I recontract or change my plan to a non-XO plan?

A. Your free weekend local data will cease automatically when you recontract or change plan to a non-XO plan.

Q. Is the free weekend local data shareable with MobileShare?

A. Yes, MobileShare supplementary lines tied to a XO plan will be able to enjoy free weekend local data. You can click here for more info on MobileShare. 

Q. How can I ensure that I enjoy this weekend data benefit (Saturday and Sunday)?

A. Eligible customers can have their local data usage waived every Saturday 00:00hrs to Sunday 23:59hrs (Singapore Time). We recommend that you switch off and on (restart) your device in order to restart a new local data usage session to enjoy this benefit. This will ensure that your phone is not running any continuous background data session.

You will need to access local mobile data (3G/4G) through e-ideas/ Internet APNs. These would be the default APNs on your device if you have not changed your settings before.

Q. 17. How do I check my APN settings and what should my APN settings be?

A.  Default settings for Singtel Postpaid smartphone customers:

Default settings for Singtel Mobile Broadband customers (dongles/tablets):

APN username: internet
Username: 65ideas
Password: 65ideas

 

On iOS devices, go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network > APN
On Android devices, go to Settings > Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Points Names

Q. Will I be able to view my mobile data usage on weekends (Saturday and Sunday)?

A. As your local data usage is waived on Saturday & Sundays, you will not see any consumed usage during that period on My Singtel app or on your monthly bill.

Q. Will my surfing speed be throttled as a result of heavy usage on weekends?

A. Free weekend local data will be throttled under our Fair Usage Policy. Your speed limit will be lifted on the following day. 

Q. I am a Singtel Combo customer. Why do I not enjoy free weekend local data?

A. Combo customers can enjoy Business Circle benefits. If you qualify for Business Circle benefits, your eligible Combo lines can enjoy free local data on Sundays, up to 20% off monthly subscriptions and keyline benefits on your primary mobile line. Mobile keyline can enjoy annual handset upgrade with early recontract fee (worth $350). 

Q. Can I change my plan or recontract to a XO plan to enjoy free weekend local data?

A. Yes, you may do so. However, XO plans are not eligible for Business Circle monthly subscription discount and keyline benefits. Any Business Circle monthly discount and keyline benefits will automatically cease once you have successfully changed your plan or recontracted to a XO plan. Downgrade charges (if any) applies.
