Introducing the all-new EcoWiFi. It's WiFi so smart, it powers down what you’re not using while you're at rest, creating a more energy-efficient home.
With EcoWiFi, your network keeps running efficiently, in tune with your lifestyle. When you're winding down, EcoWiFi matches your pace by pausing the WiFi bands you’re not using, while maintaining your connection. This means you’ll enjoy seamless performance when you’re active, and a greener setup when you’re not.
EcoWiFi is available on our WiFi 7 routers. If you're on WiFi 7, simply launch your My Singtel app to explore this feature. Not on WiFi 7 yet? Switch over to unlock EcoWiFi. Hit the button below to see all our WiFi 7 plans.

Control is at your fingertips with My Singtel app. We recommend pausing WiFi bands you’re not using during periods of low activity, such as when you're asleep.
You can pause the WiFi bands manually through your My Singtel app or set a schedule to do so automatically.

Ensure your devices are connected to the 2.4GHz band. This keeps them connected when EcoWiFi is on.

When you’re asleep, your devices don’t consume as much bandwidth, hence you can save energy by pausing the WiFi bands you’re not using.

Getting started EcoWiFi is simple on the My Singtel app. Tip: More mesh routers paused = more energy saved!

This feature comes standard with all our WiFi 7 plans. No extra cost, no manual set-up required.
Your WiFi 7 router works on 3 bands – 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz.
When you turn on EcoWiFi, it pauses the 5GHz and 6GHz bands which are faster but consume more energy.
During periods of low-activity, switching off bands that consume more energy will help make your home more efficient.
Singtel’s 2.4GHz band delivers wider coverage and stronger wall penetration, making it ideal for reaching every corner of your home. For faster speeds and minimal interference, the 5GHz and 6GHz bands are perfect, delivering smooth, high‑performance connections for devices within closer range.
Ensure your devices are connected to the 2.4GHz band before enabling EcoWiFi to stay online.
Simply connect your devices to the only available WiFi network when EcoWiFi is on. Your devices will remain connected the next time you use this feature.
When 5GHz and 6GHz bands are paused, devices that were previously connected to them may switch to mobile data instead. If you'd like your devices to remain on WiFi, please connect them to the 2.4GHz band before turning EcoWiFi on.
This depends on your device settings. Nevertheless, if your device doesn't switch back right away, simply reconnect to your preferred band manually for the best experience.
