1. Before you start, check that you have these items.

2. Locate the QR Code at the bottom of the device; you will be asked to scan it during installation.

3. Download and install the Askey WiFi Mesh app. Launch the app and follow the installation instructions.

Device Buttons and Indicators

POWER LED

No light: No power is supplied to the modem
Red: Error on device
Green: Connected to a power supply
Green (Blinking): Firmware upgrading in progress

 

2.4GHz LED

No light: No internet connection
Green: Internet connection is functioning

 

5GHz LED

No light: No connection detected
Solid Red: Mesh connection strength is weak, move devices closer
Blinking Red: Not connected to a Mesh network
Blinking Green: WPS Registration / Pairing in progress
Green: Connection is working

 

LAN (1-2)

No light: No LAN connection on the port
Green (Flashing): The indicated LAN port is sending or receiving data
Green: Ethernet connection has been established
Yellow: Connected at 1Gbps Ethernet connection
Dark Yellow: Connected at 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection
