Contest

The “SINGTEL TV: WIN A TRIP TO BERLIN TO WATCH UEFA EURO 2024™ FINAL” (“Contest”), organised by SingNet Pte Ltd (“Singtel”), shall be governed by the terms and conditions set out herein and/or by such terms as Singtel shall impose from time to time. 

Prize:

• Trip for 2 winners to Berlin, Germany (each winner will get one pair of flight tickets and one pair of final match tickets; twin-sharing hotel accommodation)
• Return economy flight tickets to/from Singapore
• Hotel accommodation (twin-sharing) for 2 or 3 nights (the number of nights may be subject to change at Singtel’s sole discretion)
• A pair of tickets for UEFA EURO 2024™ Final match on 15 July 2024, 03:00hrs (Singapore time).
• The Trip will be from 13 Jul 2024, or other dates determined at Singtel’s sole discretion

Contest Period 

Contest Start Date: 11 April 2024, 00:00 – 26 May 2024, 23:59

The dates and timing are based on the local time zone of Singapore.

Eligibility and Contest Selection Criteria

The Contest is open to all Singtel TV Business Customers who are subscribers of UEFA EURO 2024™ Season Pass.

To qualify for the Contest, the participants must be existing Singtel TV Business subscribers with an active Singtel Business account and active Singtel TV service contract by the end of the UEFA EURO 2024™ Final Match (i.e. 15 July 2024).

Participants are required to answer questions on this page and submit their answers by 26 May 2024, 23:59. 

Two (2) winners will be selected for the Contest. The entries will be judged by 2 criteria:

1.     The accuracy of their answer to question 1,2,3 and 4

2.     The creativity of their answer to question 5

The winners of the Contest will be notified by Singtel via Email/ Phone Call and the winners are required to respond within 48 hours for Singtel to make necessary arrangements. Failure to respond will result in an automatic disqualification.

The decision of Singtel’s award of the winners for the Contest shall be final and is not subject to review or appeal.

Each participant is solely responsible for ensuring that participating in this Contest is not illegal or prohibited by the laws or regulations of any country relevant or applicable to the participant. Singtel reserves the right to disqualify an otherwise eligible person from winning a prize and/or substitute another person as the winner in the event Singtel in its sole and absolute discretion believes or is of the opinion that the particular person may have contravened, will contravene or has contravened any of these terms and conditions and/or may bring Singtel into disrepute. In the event the prize has already been awarded to such a person, the prize must be returned immediately to Singtel at such person’s cost and expense.

The winner of the Contest and accompanying travel companion will require valid passports with at least 6 months validity and be physically fit to travel. Any visa requirements or additional costs will be the sole responsibility of the winner.

The winners of the Contest agree to be filmed or photographed, if required by Singtel, and consent to the use by Singtel and Singtel partners of their winning entries, footages, names, photographs and images in any promotional and publicity materials relating to the Contest.

The prize for each winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Where the prize contains a specific date during which the prize should be utilized, no requests for extensions or replacements whatsoever will be entertained. Singtel expressly disclaims any warranties express or implied in connection with any prizes to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws. The prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions, and participants agree to comply with all terms and conditions applicable to the prizes. In the event that the prize incurs any tax liability, such tax is the sole responsibility of the winner.

Any visuals of prizes used in Contest promotional materials are merely for illustration purposes and real items may differ. Singtel reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize without prior notice to participants. 

General

1.          Each participant shall fully indemnify and hold harmless Singtel and each of their respective divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, parent, directors, officers, employees and agents, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Contest (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) from any and all claims, damages, losses, demands, causes of action, proceedings, expenses (including without limitation reasonable attorneys’ fees), and/or liabilities resulting or arising from or connected with, or claimed to have arisen, resulted from or be connected with:

(i)              the participant’s submission, participation, attempt to participate, or inability to participate, in the Contest;

(ii)             submission and/or use by the Indemnified Parties of any submission (and/or any parts thereof);

(iii)            the participant’s failure to comply with any one or more of these Contest rules or any applicable laws, rules or regulations;

(iv)           the unauthorized use by the participant of, as applicable, the name, likeness, voice, work product, brand, trademark, logo of any person or entity;

(v)             the breach or alleged breach of any warranty, representation (including, without limitation any eligibility-related representation) or covenant made by the participant in connection with the Contest;

(vi)           acceptance and/or use of any Prize, if any;

(vii)          any right or benefit granted by the participant to Singtel in connection with the Contest; and/or

(viii)         the participant’s negligence, wilful misconduct, violation of any applicable laws, rules or regulations or these Contest rules, or his or her violation of any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other right.

2.          Participants release each of the Indemnified Parties, from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Contest and the awarding and use, misuse or possession of any prizes, including liability for personal injury, except where prohibited or limited by law.

3.          Singtel, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any Contest winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize or participation in this Contest except where it is caused by the negligence of Singtel, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The participant’s statutory rights are not affected. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each participant agrees to indemnify Singtel against any losses, damages, costs, expenses, claims or liabilities of any kind arising in connection with his or her participation in this Contest.

4.          Personal Data Collection and Disclosure:

(i)       By entering the Contest, participants agree and acknowledge that all personal data submitted may be collected, processed, stored, disclosed or otherwise used by Singtel and its affiliates for the purposes of conducting and administering the Contest and is subject to Singtel Data Protection Policy (https://www.singtel.com/data-protection) and Singtel General Terms & Conditions(https://www.singtel.com/terms-general).

(ii)      Participants consent to and authorize Singtel to use at its sole discretion, without further compensation to the participants, any of their names, addresses, personal details, photographs, videotapes or any likeness of them for packaging, promotional, advertising, marketing and/or publicity purposes (where not prohibited by written law).

5.          Each participant agrees that collection of personal data including participant’s name, contact number, email address, home address, Singtel TV account number and personal identification such as pictures shall be needed for Singtel’s and Singtel partner’s usage to facilitate contestants’ participation of this Contest. 

6.          The collection of personal data is carried out with the sole purpose of delivering the Contest prizes to the winners. If you provide us with personally identifiable data, we will not share your data with anyone or any entity, except with a third-party courier tasked with delivering the prizes to the winners, in which case only necessary data will be provided.

7.          For your convenience, we may also use your relevant personal data you had previously supplied us. This will speed up the relevant transaction and save you the trouble of repeating previous submissions. Should the data be out-of-date, please supply us your most current and accurate personal data.

8.          The winners consent to the publishing of their names on Singtel’s websites, and to the release of their personal data to a third-party courier service for the delivery of prizes.

9.          Singtel accepts no responsibility for entries lost or not successfully completed and/or delivered to Singtel’s mailbox due to a technical fault, malfunction, delay, overload, interruption; computer hardware or software failure; satellite, network or server failure of any kind.

10.        Singtel, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any winner or accept any liability occurring as a result of the nonavailability of the winner to receive the prize at the time of delivery.

11.        The decision of Singtel regarding any aspect of the Contest is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

12.        Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry into the Contest. Singtel in its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

13.        Singtel in its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend these terms and conditions, Contest.

14.        Singtel has the right to disqualify any participant who fails to abide by these terms and conditions or for any or no reason at any time without any liability whatsoever.

Should you withdraw your consent to our use of your personal information, you will not be able to participate in the Contest.

16.        Any trademarks, graphic symbols, logos or intellectual property contained in any materials used in connection with this Contest, in particular that relating to the prizes, are the property of their respective owners. Singtel and its affiliates and contractors are not affiliated with, or endorsed or sponsored by, such owners and their relevant affiliates.

This Contest shall be governed by Singapore law and each participant agrees to submit any claim, dispute or controversy to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
