Can I buy this plan for my family?
You can buy Singtel Hospital Cash with your spouse and/or children under our Family Plan. You can cover your spouse, parents, in-laws, and children, up to a total of 10 insureds in the same plan, as long as each insured is a Singapore citizen, Permanent Resident of Singapore or foreigner with valid work pass, dependent pass or long-term visit pass. Each additional insured added to the plan will receive a 5% further discount on total premium before GST.
Are there any waiting periods before I can claim for the benefits under this policy?
Yes, there is a waiting period of 30 days for any sickness or injury for which you receive treatment, medication, advice, consultation or diagnosis. There is a waiting period of 90 days to receive the higher hospital cash payout due to retrenchment.
