Data-only means that customers will not be able to access the hi!App or perform certain actions, such as checking their balance.

Note
  • SIM registration with passport will be subject to thirty (30) days validity. To retain this SIM for more than 30 days, re-registration is required at any Singtel Shop, selected Singtel Exclusive Retailers, Singtel mRemit Lucky Plaza #01-11 or selected Prepaid authorised retailers here with Singpass or original Singapore-issued ID (Identity Card / Work permit) within thirty (30) days of your SIM registration.
  • Self-registration on the hi!App using a passport or self-registration on hi!App outside of Singapore using a passport/Singapore-issued ID will only grant access to data-only features on all prepaid SIM cards.

Self-register and activate your SIM/eSIM on hi!App (Passport)​.

Step 7: Start using your SIM card

Once your identity has been verified, you will see a 'Registration successful' page.
Your SIM card is now ready to be used!

Step 1: Download hi!App

Connect to WiFi or hotspot to download hi!App. Open the app after download, click 'Got a new SIM/eSIM', then 'Register new SIM card'.​

Step 2: Retrieve your details

Click 'Scan identity document'. Then, confirm your access to data-only services to proceed.

Step 3: Enter your details

Select 'Passport' as your identity document and fill in your passport details.

Step 4: Enter SIM card details

Refer to your SIM card and fill in your SIM mobile number and SIM code.
Then, choose a FREE Barring Service.

Step 5: Verify your details

Take a photo of your passport's biodata page and upload it.

Step 6: Verify your face

Centre your face in the frame to capture your photo.
You can use your SIM card only after registration is successful.

Step 7: Start using your SIM card

Once your identity has been verified, you will see a 'Registration successful' page.
Your SIM card is now ready to be used!
