So, we’ve established what GOMO is, but what does it offer? 

First, GOMO has 4 no contract mobile plans.  

GOMO plans start from just $10.18 per month, with free incoming calls and caller ID.

You can tailor your mobile experience with add-ons like roaming with GOMO's user-friendly app.

You can buy add-ons like Data roaming and Data pump, starting at just $5. 

There is also no bill shock with GOMO – there won’t be a case where you exceed your data and rack up excess charges, then only find out at the end of the month.

This is because GOMO users need to purchase additional data (Data Pump) to continue using their data when they’ve exhausted their allotted amount. 

Being on GOMO doesn't mean that you won’t be able to buy a phone at an affordable price.

You can still use Singtel PayLater to pay for your phone in easy instalments.

With Singtel PayLater, you can pay for a device in 12, 24 or 36 month instalments with no interest or hidden fees.

Note that in order to use PayLater to pay for your phones and accessories, you need to be a Singtel customer. 

However, it doesn't necessarily mean you have to be a mobile customer – if you’re using Singtel’s Fibre broadband, for example, that also counts!

Phone Plans come with a 2-year contract – these are the OG mobile phone plans that have always been around.

On top of these promotions, you also get additional Loyalty Vouchers (for those who sign up for S and above).

For example, if you get an M Phone Plan, this comes with a $150 Loyalty Voucher, and you can utilize this to shave off even more off your bill when you’re ready to recontract.

So, if you want to upgrade to the latest iPhone without paying full price, getting a Phone Plan is a good way of doing that.

In total, Singtel has 6 Phone Plans to choose from. 

All of them come with free 5G access, more than 30GB of local data and add-ons.

Most of these plans also come bundled with worldwide roaming, enhanced security, loyalty vouchers, and 2 free months subscription to Spotify and Calm.

Phone Plans start from $62 per month. You can also buy add-ons on My Singtel app from $5, including roaming, music, video, talktime & IDD add-ons.

So, how does Singtel's Phone Plans stack up against GOMO?

SIM Only Plus plans are popular amongst folks whose main priority is to keep their monthly phone bill affordable.

These plans come with a 1 year contract – that's shorter than Phone Plans, but longer than GOMO’s plans. 

There are 3 SIM Only Plus plans to choose from, with the most affordable plan starting at $30.56/month.

Even the most affordable plan (which is the SIM Only Plus 30 plan) gives you a ton of data – we're talking 60GB of data, and 1,000 mins of talktime and 500 SMSes.

What’s cool is that some of these plans allow you to use one plan for multiple destinations, as long as the entire trip is under 30 days.

For example, say you're going to Europe, and you'll be in Italy for the first week, then Spain in the second week. 

There’s no need to activate different roaming plans or get multiple SIM cards – you can use the same ReadyRoam Worldwide plan in both these places (and any other stops you might have in Europe).

GOMO offers data roaming packs as well, but it is limited to 50 destinations for 5-7 days, making it more suitable for shorter trips of about a week.  

GOMO’s roaming packs aside, they also have a Neighbours Plan, which is a mobile plan that’s great for folks who travel within SEA frequently.

This plan comes with 700GB local data + 100GB data roaming to Malaysia + 12GB data roaming to 18 destinations in Asia + 10GB data roaming to 50 destinations worldwide.
