Label eSIM and switch between multiple SIM profiles

Upon installation, your device might assign a random name to your eSIM. We recommend personalising the label so you can identify and switch between your SIM profiles easily.

You’ll use these labels when:

  • Choosing which number to make calls from
  • Choosing a number to use for mobile data

How to label eSIM

  • iOS*: Settings > Mobile Service > SIMs > Select eSIM > Mobile Plan Label > Rename eSIM

*Only available when 2 or more SIMs are installed on the device

  • Android (non-Samsung): Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > Select eSIM > Tap on Pencil icon (Edit) > Rename eSIM

  • Samsung: Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Select eSIM > Edit name and icon > Rename eSIM

How to switch between multiple SIM profiles

Important to note: Although a device may support installing multiple SIM profiles, only 2 mobile lines can be active at a time.
