When can I pre-order the iPhone XR?
iPhone XR pre-order starts on 19 Oct. 3pm. For customers who have registered your interest, pre-order now by simply visiting the exclusive URL in our pre-order notification email sent to you. While stocks last.
How many units of iPhone XR can I purchase during reservation?
Please note that you can purchase a maximum of two units of iPhone XR based on your NRIC/FIN used during pre-registration. Each purchased unit requires a 24-month mobile contract sign up.
If I did not pre-register, will I still be able to make a reservation and purchase the iPhone XR?
Sorry, we are afraid not. No worries, you can still purchase the new iPhone XR via walk-in to any Singtel Shop or online at www.singtel.com for Combo plans when island-wide sales commence.
I am holding a Employment Pass or S Pass holder, can I make reservation for iPhone XR and purchase it?
Yes, of course. Do take note of the following details prior to sign-up:<br><br><ul><li>You’ll need to present a copy of your identification pass for verification during the purchase. </li><li>If you’re an Employment Pass or S Pass holder, please ensure that your identification pass has a validity of at least 6 months from date of purchase when you sign up for a 2-year mobile contract. Please note S Pass holder are eligible for Combo 1 or Combo 2 Plan sign-up only. </li></ul>
I am holding a Work Permit, Social, Student or Dependent Pass, can I make reservation for iPhone XR and purchase it?
Yes. Do take note of the following details prior to sign-up: <br><ul><li>Present a copy of your identification pass for verification during the purchase. If you’re a holding a Work Permit, Social, Student or Dependent Pass, please ensure that your identification pass has a validity of at least 12mths from date of purchase when you sign-up for a 2-yr contract.</li><li>A minimum deposit of $450-$800/mobile line (payable upon application and/or recontract on a 2-yr contract) is required.</li></ul>
I have not completed 21 months of my device contract. Am I allowed to re-contract and how much is Early Device Upgrade Fee?
Yes, you can upgrade your device after completing at least the first 6 months of your current 2 years Device Agreement. <br><br>An Early Device Upgrade Fee applies as follow:<ul><li>For customers who've completed between 6-11 mths of their contract: $500 - $1000 depending on the price plan & handset purchased</li><li>For customers who've completed between 12-17 mths of their contract: $350</li><li>For customers who've completed between 18-20 mths of their contract: $200</li></ul>
Can I use my vouchers to purchase the iPhone XR?
Yes, sure you can. Vouchers are accepted when you purchase the new iPhone XR. Here’s the list of vouchers accepted:<ol type="a"> <li>Singtel Price Plan vouchers</li> <li>Singtel Prestige Vouchers</li> <li>Singtel Re-contract Vouchers</li> <li>Singtel Rewards Vouchers</li> <li>Singtel-UOB Vouchers</li></ol>
Can I combine my Singtel Prestige voucher with a Price Plan voucher to purchase the new iPhone XR?
Yes. You may combine a Singtel Prestige voucher with a Price Plan voucher to purchase the new iPhone XR. However, your handset purchase must be tied to a 24 months Device Agreement and for a single purchase only. Please note that you are unable to combine two or more Singtel Prestige Vouchers for a single purchase.
Can I purchase the new iPhone XR at the recommended retail price (RRP) during reservation?
Please note that purchase of the new iPhone XR are only available with a 24-month mobile contract. Please stay tuned to our bulletin for more updates on sales of the new iPhone XR at recommended retail prices.
Can I book a Singtel Shop appointment to purchase the iPhone XR during the online pre-order?
Sorry, we are afraid not. iPhone XR pre-order for is only available online.
I have pre-ordered successfully online. Can I make changes to the order I pre-ordered online?
Sorry, we are afraid not. We are unable to make changes to your reserved iPhone XR model or colour, collection/delivery appointment once you have successfully order your iPhone.
How would I know if I have successfully reserved an iPhone XR earlier on the pre-order website?
You will receive a successful pre-order confirmation email from us.
When will I be able to get an eSIM from Singtel for the new iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone XR?
We are getting more information from Apple to review the offering of digital eSIM.

SIM Cards and transfer of contacts

What kind of SIM card does the new iPhone require? Will there be any SIM card charges?
The new iPhone requires a Nano SIM. A change of SIM card is needed if you are currently using a regular/micro-SIM card. A administrative fee of $10.70 and SIM card fee of $37.45 apply with a new mobile line sign-up. An administrative fee of $10.70 applies when you re-contract your current mobile line.

<ul><li>Open My Singtel app.</li><li>Under the Usage tab, click on “View Your Plan” to view your handset upgrade eligibility date under the “Re-contracting” section.</li><li>For those who have not downloaded the app, kindly download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Log in to Singtel My Account with your OnePass ID and password. (for personal mobile lines only).</li><li>On the Account Summary landing page, click on "Show details and usage" at the bottom of the selected mobile number to see your handset upgrade eligibility date under the "Re-contract Eligibility" section.</li><ul>
Via dialing *1688?
<ul><li>Reply with option '2' for 'Check Price Plan/Upgrade'.</li><li>A reply via SMS will be sent to your mobile phone shortly with details on your re-contract eligibility.</li></ul>
