At the point of purchase, the tourist plan will start and it will be valid for as long as per the plan validity period stated.

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM that can be installed into compatible phones/devices without the need for a physical SIM card.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to edit your details after you have purchased your eSIM. Please review your order carefully before checking out.

You can use Visa or Mastercard credit/debit cards to check out your eSIM order. 

To use an eSIM, your phone must be carrier-unlocked and eSIM-compatible. Please refer to the list below to check if your phone supports eSIM technology.

1. Open your eSIM installation email on the device you want to install it on, then tap Install eSIM. 

2. Ensure that you are connected to the Internet. Free WiFi #WiFi@Changi is available at Changi Airport. 

3. You’ll be brought to Singtel hi! app. Tap Continue on this device. 

4. Tap Continue to start eSIM installation.

Connect to #WiFi@Changi for free access in both the public and transit areas of Changi Airport.

2. Launch your Internet browser (e.g. Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer) and key in a valid website address to access the login page. 

3. Next, click on the WiFi logo and enjoy your 3 hours of free WiFi.

If you experience issues connecting to the Singtel network service, do restart your phone or switch airplane mode on and off.

For $12 hi! Tourist plan, $15 hi! Tourist plan and $30 hi! Tourist plan: Top up the $3 hi! one day add on on Singtel hi! app or selected distributor channel retailers before the eSIM expiry date to extend eSIM validity for one day. Payment on Singtel hi! app can be done using Visa or Mastercard credit/debit cards.

The roaming data bundled with your Tourist eSIM is activated immediately upon registration and valid for use before expiry. Simply turn on mobile data and data roaming in your mobile network settings when overseas. 

Yes, if your device is dual SIM-enabled, you can use both your physical SIM and eSIM in one phone. You can configure which SIM to use for calls, messages and data.

Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager > Click the preferred SIM card section to select your preferred settings

1. Ensure that you are connected to the Internet.

2. Go to Settings > Mobile Data/Network > Scan the QR code in your eSIM installation email guide

Yes, you can do so. 

Have your eSIM email ready before you start.  

1. Delete eSIM from your current device. You can do this under your device settings. 

2. Open your eSIM installation email and start installation from there. 

Did not receive eSIM email 

Check your junk or spam folders under the email address provided when you made the purchase.  

You should receive your eSIM email within 15 minutes after purchase. If you’re still facing issues, chat with us. 

Receive “unable to activate eSIM” message (iOS) 

This happens when your eSIM has been successfully installed, but your line is not activated on your new eSIM yet.  

Leave the page first. You can continue using your device while awaiting activation.  

When this occurs, your eSIM should display as “Activating” under Settings > Mobile Service.

Receive “plan is already in use” message (Android) 

This happens when your eSIM is already installed on a mobile device, but you’re attempting to install the eSIM again. 

Transferring your eSIM to a new device? Make sure that you’ve deleted the eSIM from your previous device first. Then, install your eSIM on your new device following the instructions in your eSIM installation email.    

No mobile data, calls or SMS on eSIM after successful installation 

Follow these steps:  

1. Make sure that the device you are installing your eSIM on is connected to the internet.  

2. Check that your device is eSIM-compatible.  

3. Follow the steps in your eSIM email.  

If you receive the error message "Cellular plans from this carrier cannot be added" and you are unable to install the eSIM, it may suggest that your phone is carrier-locked. 

Carrier-locked refers to a phone that is tied to a specific mobile network carrier, normally the carrier that sold the device. It cannot be used with any other carrier without being unlocked first. 

You will have to contact your phone carrier and request for an unlock. The request for an unlock is subject to your phone carrier’s approval, we will not be able to advise on the timeline.
