1. What is Singtel hi! Tourist Plan? The Singtel hi! Tourist Plan is a SIM that can be installed into compatible phones/devices. The Singtel hi! Tourist Plan is open to foreign passport holders only.
2. Singtel hi! Tourist Plan is available in different variants as set out in the table below or as may be determined by Singtel Mobile in its sole discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, the “Tourist Plan Validity Period” applies only to the Singtel hi! Tourist Plan and shall be 14 days, 28 days or 30 days (as applicable) as set out in the table below.

IDD Mins to 20+ countries refers to Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Norway, Romania, South Korea, Thailand, USA, Philippines and Vietnam.
The roaming data bundle comprised in the Singtel hi! Tourist Plan may be used whilst roaming in the following destinations and with the following preferred operators.



Accessibility to data usage when roaming is dependent on Singtel Mobile’s roaming partners’ support of applicable network technology and functionality. Performance may be impacted by transmission limitations, terrain, in-building/in-vehicle use and other capacity constraints. Singtel hi! does not guarantee availability, speed and coverage of overseas partners’ network.
2.2 Activation. The Singtel hi! Tourist Plan will be activated upon purchase. The Tourist Plan Validity Period shall commence from date of activation and expire at the end of the plan validity period.
Under IMDA’s regulations, each passport holder registered Singtel hi! Tourist Card will only enjoy data services if they register their Singtel hi! Tourist plan effective from September 2024.
2.3 Features. Upon activation, the bundled value under the Singtel hi! Tourist Plan can be used for local calls, local SMS, local data, and IDD calls (excluding calls to or from restricted country code prefixes as set out below). The Singtel hi! Tourist plan purchased via eSIM is strictly data-only. For the avoidance of doubt, the bundled value under Singtel hi! Tourist Plan cannot be used for video calls, and roaming services (including sending global SMSes). Usage of the bundled value will be calculated at the prevailing standard pay-per-use rates.

2.4 Tourist Plan Validity Period. The tourist plan and/or any additional top-up of the tourist plan, shall expire at 2359 hours on the date of expiry of the respective validity periods unless extended in accordance with this section.
2.5 Re-Registration
From 15 July 2024 under IMDA’s regulations, SIM registration using a passport will be valid for thirty (30) days from the date of registration. To retain your SIM for more than 30 days, re-registration is required at any authorised Singtel hi! retailers or via Singtel hi! app with a valid Singapore-issued Identity Card / Work pass within thirty (30) days of your SIM registration. After thirty (30) days, your passport-registered Singtel hi! Tourist Plan will be suspended without prior notice or liability to you, and there shall be no refund in relation to any such suspended plan.
2.6 Purchase of Add-ons on Singtel hi! Tourist Plan. You may purchase add-ons for the Singtel hi! Tourist Plan any time during the Tourist Plan Validity Period. Upon purchase of add-ons, the plan validity and any unused bundled value will be extended by the validity period of the relevant Singtel hi! add-ons purchased. All unused bundled value will expire and be forfeited upon expiry of the Tourist Plan Validity Period. Purchasing add-ons after the Plan Validity Period has expired will not reinstate or extend any forfeited value.

2.7 Change Plans on Singtel hi! Tourist Plan. Pursuant to Clause 2.5 (Re-Registration), you may change plan for the Singtel hi! Tourist Plan at any time during the Tourist Plan Validity Period after you have completed re-registration. Upon performance of a valid change of plan, users can continue to use any remaining balances under their existing Singtel hi! tourist plan until the end of their plan expiry.
Plan Change Options. We have the following types of change of plans which you may purchase for your Singtel hi! Tourist plan after you perform re-registration with a valid Singapore issued ID

$5 hi! Senior Plan and $5 hi! Senior Monthly Plan is only available to all Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, Employment and Long-Term Pass holders aged 60 years old and above. (Based on birth-date)

1. Customer must have a valid credit or debit card stored within Singtel hi! App for recurring payments to be charged. If no valid credit or debit card is stored within Singtel hi! App, the Singtel hi! Plan will be suspended.
2. Singtel Mobile reserves the right to vary these Singtel hi! Terms without prior notice to the customer.
3. The following terms and conditions are incorporated by reference:

4. Local call usage is deducted from the bundled minutes on the Base Plan or Singtel hi! Plan, as the case may be, based on per minute block.
5. As a fraud control measure, each incoming and outgoing call will be cut off automatically at 1 hour call duration.
6. Non-Commercial and Fair Usage Policy of Local Calls, Local SMS and Local Data
i. Local Calls and local SMS are to any local mobile number.
ii. Customers are to use this service for personal and non-commercial purpose only. To ensure that the activities of some users do not impair the ability of Customers to have access to reliable services, this service is conditional on fair usage by Customers.
iii. Local calls are provided solely for live dialogue between, and initiated by, individuals for personal use and may not be used for any other purposes, including, but not limited to: monitoring services, transmission of broadcasts, transmission of recorded material, telemarketing, autodialed calls, excessive or abusive calls, other commercial uses, or other connections that do not consist of uninterrupted live dialogue between individuals.
iv. SMS may not be used to transmit or facilitate any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, telemarketing, promotional materials, "junk mail", unsolicited commercial or bulk messages, mass SMS broadcasts, sending of messages via automated means, or for activities that will adversely affect the ability of users or systems to use Singtel Mobile's services, or for any other reason that in our sole discretion violates our policy of providing service for individual use.
v. Local data may not be used to transmit or facilitate any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, telemarketing, promotional materials, "junk mail", unsolicited commercial or bulk messages; or for activities that will adversely affect the ability of users or systems to use Singtel Mobile's services, or for any other reason that in our sole discretion violates our policy of providing service for individual use.
vi. Singtel Mobile reserves the right, without notice or limitation, to deny, terminate, modify, throttle, disconnect or suspend services if an individual engages in unfair, excessive or abusive usage or if Singtel Mobile, at its sole discretion, determines that action is necessary to protect the network from harm or degradation.
7. Port-in Service
i. “Port-In Service” means a service provided by Singtel Mobile which allows a Customer to retain his non-Singtel Mobile postpaid mobile number by porting his line from his current mobile service provider (“Donor”) to a Singtel Mobile postpaid line. Customer consents to the release of Customer’s information to a third-party central number port service provider and/or the Donor for the purpose of activating the Port-In Service.
ii. Customer agrees to pay all outstanding charges to the Donor, including pre-termination charges, if any, prior to the activation of the Port-In Service.
iii. Upon commencement of the Port-In Service, Customer’s existing contract with the Donor shall automatically terminate.
8. Termination / Port-out Service
i. Termination of a recurring Singtel hi! Plan via Singtel hi! App must be initiated at least 2 days before the next scheduled recurring payment date. In the event the Customer initiates a termination of the recurring Singtel hi! Plan less than 2 days before the next scheduled recurring payment date, the Customer will be charged for the next recurring payment.
ii. Singtel hi! SIM Cards will be terminated upon expiry of the SIM validity period as provided in these Singtel hi! Terms. Singtel hi! SIM Cards that have been terminated, cannot be reinstated for any reason.
iii. As termination of Singtel hi! SIM Card may impact third party services (including PayNow) associated with the terminated Singtel hi! mobile number, Customers are solely responsible for updating all third-party services (including PayNow) associated with the Singtel hi! mobile number upon termination of the Singtel hi! SIM Card, and Singtel Mobile shall not be liable to the Customer in respect of the same.
iv. Customers will not be able to withdraw their unused wallet credits should they choose to terminate their Singtel hi! line or in the event that their Singtel hi! line expires.
v. If you are a foreigner living or working in Singapore, we reserve the right to terminate or suspend any of your services upon the revocation or expiry of your foreigner work pass, student pass, Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) and/or other foreigner pass types (as may be applicable).
9. Personal Data
i. We use your personal data to provide our services, keep your account secure, send you updates or offers, and meet our legal obligations. You can read more in our Singtel’s Data Protection Policy, and as provided in these Singtel hi! Terms.
ii. If you have already given us permission (consent) to use your personal data, we will continue to use your personal data unless you tell us to stop. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
iii. For marketing messages, you can withdraw your consent by going to “Me” → Settings” in the Singtel hi! mobile app, and change your settings to stop receiving marketing messages. Your request will take effect within 21 days. If you wish to withdraw your consent for other uses of your personal data, please refer to our Singtel’s Data Protection Policy for more information on how to do so.
iv. Please note that if you withdraw consent for data that we need to provide your service, we may have to end your subscription. However, there will be no refunds. In that case, you will still need to follow your agreement, including other fees that may apply, as explained in our Singtel’s Data Protection Policy.
v. You have the right to access your personal data that we hold. Please log in to Singtel hi! App → “Me” → “Contact Info” to view your personal data. If you are unable to find the data you require in the Singtel hi! App, please contact us via the chat bot in the Singtel hi! App. Please note that some types of data may not be accessible.
vi. We aim to keep the personal data we hold about you accurate, up-to-date, and complete.
If you wish to correct or update your information, please log in to the Singtel hi! App → “Me” → “Contact Info” to make the necessary changes. To update other records, please contact us via the chat bot in the Singtel hi! App.
10. Suspension of Singtel hi! Mobile Service in the event of Suspected Account Compromise
i. All Singtel hi! customers may suspend their Singtel hi! account if they suspect that their mobile number or account has been compromised (e.g. if a customer loses their mobile phone etc.) (“Emergency Suspension”).
ii. Customers may carry out an Emergency Suspension by reaching out via chat to Singtel hi! Support on https://singtel.com/hi or via the Singtel hi! App.
iii. The validity periods for all relevant Singtel hi! services under the suspended mobile account shall continue to run during the period of the Emergency Suspension (“Emergency Suspension Period”).
11. Barring Service (International Incoming Voice and SMS)
i. The Barring Service is a free service that allows subscribers to block all incoming international calls and SMS to their mobile number, whether such calls are received by you in Singapore or overseas. This means that subscribers will be unable to receive all incoming international calls and SMS. For the avoidance of doubt, subscribers will still be able to make outgoing international calls and send international SMS.
ii. Eligibility. The Barring Service is available to all Singtel hi! customers.
iii. Method of Subscription. To subscribe or unsubscribe from the Barring Service, you may do so via the Singtel hi! App. . You will be informed via SMS if you have successfully subscribed to or unsubscribed from the Barring Service. The Barring Service will take effect within 24 hours from your subscription to the Barring Service.
