If you have activated the Barring Services, any international SMS will be intercepted even before they reach your device. Do note you will not receive any notification whenever there are any international SMS blocked by the network.

For Singtel Postpaid customers, simply activate or deactivate Barring Service via the My Singtel App under Add-ons. Alternatively, you may dial 1800 538 5833 in Singapore or +65 6538 5833 if you are overseas.

Once you’ve subscribed to our Barring Services, keep an eye on your messages – we’ll send you a confirmation SMS. Else, easily check your subscription status under Add-ons in the My Singtel App. ​

Yes. Barring Service (International Incoming Voice) will be terminated when you cancel or port out your fixed line.

No. If you have subscribed to the Barring service, the service will be applied to your new Fixed Line number.
