You’ve got options:

Choose between cash upfront at Singtel Shops or credit toward your new device when you transact online.

Before handing over your device:

1. Back up your data

2. Factory reset your device

3. Remove SIM and memory cards

For those who are buying online:

Step 3: Select the “Trade in” option when checking out with your new device. Upon delivery of your new device, hand over your old device to the courier.

For those who are buying via a Singtel shop:

Step 4: Bring your device to any Singtel shop and pass it to a sales representative.

First things first – figure out how much your old device is worth.

Just input the brand of your device, the model and the storage size, and it will tell you the trade in value.

Typically, the newer the phone model, the better the trade in price.

For example: if you trade in an iPhone 15, you’ll get a better price than if you were to trade in an iPhone 14.

Note that your device has to be in good working condition, with no cosmetic damages and no damages on the LCD screen.

You’ll also need to hand over the original battery, charger and accompanying accessories when you trade in.

When you trade in your old device, you can use the value to offset your next device purchase.

This includes devices without contract (ie: standalone phones or tablets) as well as devices with contract.

Note that your trade-in value can only be used once, to offset a device purchase or for cash upfront at 6 Singtel shops.

For those who are shopping online: Once you’ve decided what new device you want to purchase, add it to your cart.

When you check out, select the “Trade in option”.

On the payment page, you’ll see that the credit is used to offset the cost of your next device, and you’ll only need to pay for the remaining amount (if any).

Before the delivery person comes, you’ll need to do a couple of things:

When the courier arrives, hand over your old device together with the original battery, charger and accompanying accessories, and write the IMEI number of the returned device on the signed copy of the Delivery Order.
