Conversion of Corporate BRN Scheme

From Corporate BRN to

Corporate BRN

Scenario 1: Company A to Company B

For conversion of your corporate mobile line’s ownership to another company, the mobile line will be first converted to a Personal scheme

Application process and forms

To initiate this conversion, email to corpmobile@singtel.com using your corporate email address. We will send you the latest copy of BRN Mobile Application Form (eForm) to complete.

Scenario 2: Within Company A

For conversion of your corporate mobile line’s ownership within the same company, the conversion is direct

How it works
BRN (Company A) → Personal → BRN (Company B)

 

Eligibility

Mobile line must have completed at least 3 months of service/equipment contract in its current scheme. Only authorised representatives of Company A and Company B can request this conversion.

 

Changes to mobile services (mobile plan and VAS)

Current mobile services and subscription rates will change to match Company B’s mobile services and subscription rates.

  • Any mobile services which are not offered in Company B will cease, and early termination charges will apply
  • To avoid downgrade penalty, the selected mobile plan in Company B must be of equivalent or higher tier

 

Changes to equipment contract

If your mobile line is currently in-contract, the remaining contract months will be transferred to Company B.


Re-contract eligibility (based on 24-month contract)

  • Completed 0 to 11 months: Not eligible
  • Completed 12 to 20 months: Eligible for early re-contract with early device upgrade fee of $356 (for all plans except for Combo 12, E5 & S5) or $508 (for Combo 12, E5 & S5)
  • Completed at least 21 months: Eligible for re-contract

 

Conversion fee

$75 (bef. GST) if your mobile line is in-contract.

 

Holding period after conversion

3-month holding period applies in the new scheme if your mobile line is in-contract. During this period, you are unable to do another conversion or terminate your mobile line.

 

Changes to billing

Conversion may involve changes to your mobile line’s:

  • Subscription rates
  • Billing account number
  • Billing address
  • Payment mode
  • Billing cycle

 

If the conversion takes effect in the middle of your current billing cycle, your Data/Talktime/SMS usage allowances and subscription rates will be pro-rated based on the effective date of conversion. This applies to both local and roaming services.

Corporate Individual Scheme (CIS)

Singtel Corporate Individual Scheme (CIS) is open to employees of participating companies.

To initiate this conversion, complete the form(s) below by typing the information directly into them, and email a copy to corpmobile@singtel.com using your corporate email address. Handwritten forms will not be accepted.

 

How it works
BRN → CIS

 

Eligibility

Your mobile line must have completed at least 12 months of equipment contract (if applicable) and 3 months service contract in its current scheme. This conversion request may be subject to approval from the companies’ authorised representative(s).

 

Changes to mobile services (mobile plan and VAS)

Current mobile services and subscription rates will change to match CIS’ mobile services and subscription rates.

  • Any mobile services which are not offered in CIS will cease, and early termination charges will apply
  • To avoid downgrade penalty, the selected mobile plan in CIS must be of equivalent or higher tier

 

Changes to equipment contract

Conversion fee

$75 (bef. GST) if your mobile line is in-contract.

Personal line is registered under individual identity and is not linked to a company.

BRN → Personal Scheme

 

Eligibility

Your mobile line must have completed at least 13 months of equipment contract or service contract in its current scheme. This conversion request may be subject to approval from the companies’ authorised representative(s).

 

Changes to mobile services (mobile plan and VAS)

Current mobile services and subscription rates will change to match Personal scheme’s mobile services and subscription rates.

  • Any mobile services which are not offered in Personal scheme will cease, and early termination charges will apply
  • To avoid downgrade penalty, the selected mobile plan in Personal scheme has to be of equivalent or higher tier
