Can you tell if these pictures are taken with a DSLR or smartphone camera?

Google's Pixel phones are known for their amazing cameras.

Case in point?

In YouTuber Marques Brownlee’s video where he conducted a blind smartphone camera test, the Pixel 6A stood out as the best smartphone for photography.

The test was conducted with a total of 21 million crowdsourced votes from 600,000+ users – and yes, the Google Pixel won as the smartphone that produced the most aesthetically pleasing images!

That got us thinking... what if you pit the Google Pixel not against other smartphones, but against DSLR cameras?

Here's the thing – DSLR cameras are widely regarded as the go-to tools for photography enthusiasts.

But is it possible to use a smartphone like the Google Pixel to capture an image that looks like it was taken on a DSLR?

In this article, we've featured a couple of images across different categories – food photography, landscape photography and close-ups and macro photography.

As you view the photos, try and guess whether each photo was taken on a DSLR or a Google Pixel phone.

At the end of the article, we'll reveal the answers... and you can see how many you guessed correctly! 😉
