Singtel enables donations via mobile payment app Dash

Singapore, 3 August, 2015 – Members of the public can now donate to Community Chest, direct from their mobile phones with Dash, Singtel’s award winning mobile wallet app.

“Singtel is a long-standing partner of Community Chest. We are proud to strengthen our partnership with Community Chest with Dash as one of its donation channels,” said Gan Siok Hoon, VP, mCommerce, Consumer Singapore, Singtel, “Our vision is to create a delightful mobile payment experience for our customers, from shopping to taking public transport. Now, customers can also Dash with a Difference and do their bit for charity,” added Ms Gan.

Interested donors can learn how to Dash with a Difference and make mobile donations at the Dash booth at the Community Chest Heartstrings Walk 2015 – SG50 Community Heartbeats on 7 August.

Under the Care and Share Movement for SG50, all eligible donations made from now until 31 March 2016 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Government.
