Build the practical skills to detect sophisticated threats, investigate with confidence and respond effectively when critical operations are at stake.

Practical skills practitioners will build

Recognise sophisticated attack behaviour

Identify indicators and attacker techniques before they escalate into operational impact.

Investigate across IT and OT

Apply investigation approaches suited to enterprise and operational technology environments.

Turn evidence into response actions

Practise making containment, response and recovery decisions under realistic conditions.

Strengthen organisational readiness

Take practical methods and experience back into day-to-day security operations.

Programme overview

Prepare practitioners for the realities of advanced threats

CII environments bring together complex technologies, operational dependencies and high consequences when incidents occur.

This programme combines structured learning, practical exercises and a simulated CII investigation to help practitioners apply threat detection, investigation and response techniques in realistic IT and OT scenarios. Participants move beyond understanding frameworks to practising how they would investigate and respond when faced with an active threat.

Programme overview of CII Cyber Security Training Programme

Two environments. One integrated defence mindset.

IT environment

Develop stronger detection, investigation and response capabilities across enterprise infrastructure.

OT environment

Apply cyber security techniques while accounting for industrial systems, operational constraints and safety considerations.

Programme details

Practise before it gets real

CII teams need more than theoretical knowledge. Participants work through practical scenarios that require them to analyse evidence, identify attacker behaviour and decide how to respond. The programme culminates in a simulated CII investigation, bringing together the techniques developed throughout the programme.
