Singtel IoT Connectivity supports standard and ruggedised SIMs in different form factors as well as eSIMs. Ruggedised SIMs are for applications that are exposed to harsh conditions such as high-temperature environments. We also work with authorised SIM manufacturers to provide customised eSIMs for different types of connected devices.
SIM Card Type | Supported Form Factors |
---|---|
Standard | 2FF,3FF,4FF |
Ruggedised | 2FF,3FF |
eSIM | MFF2 |
Singtel offers a variety of mobile cellular technologies that allow the enterprise to address different IoT needs. For example, 4G is suitable for high-speed, high-bandwidth applications like vehicle telemetry; Cat-M1 and NB-IoT for low-bandwidth applications such as environment sensors or asset-tracking.

Sending IoT data back to your cloud or data centre completes the picture and Singtel offers options for connecting to the enterprise backend, be it a cloud, a data centre for production purposes or even a notebook or desktop for prototyping or mobile use cases.
IoT devices can be connected to the enterprise backend via the Internet. Data from a connected device is transmitted through Singtel’s 4G, Cat-M1 or NB-IoT network and a public access point name (APN) to the Internet, and from there it is routed to the enterprise backend. Private dynamic IP addresses are assigned to the connected devices to simplify IoT device onboarding and management. Find out more
Singtel IoTConnect+ is a cloud-hosted network-as-a-service that empowers enterprises to create and rapidly deploy their mobile network on-demand, with full visibility and management of all IP configurations and data traffic over a private APN. It enables IoT devices to have secure Internet access with URL Whitelisting and transmit data to private servers via VPN over 4G, Cat-M1 and NB-IoT with private static IP addresses. Download brochure
Singtel Meg@POP is a high-performance domestic MPLS network with intelligent software-defined capabilities for ease of provisioning and enhanced connectivity management. It allows enterprises to connect their IoT systems securely and efficiently to multiple data centres and multiple clouds. IoT devices on Singtel’s 4G, Cat-M1 or NB-IoT network are assigned a private static IP address and connect to Meg@POP via private APN. Find out more
Singtel IoT Connectivity provides rapid mobile-edge data transmission from SIM to SIM within the same private network of SIMs. This is suitable for applications such as automated vehicles which have critical ultra-low latency and high-reliability requirements. The SIMs powering the connected devices are assigned private static IP addresses. Data is transmitted via a private APN using 4G, Cat-M1 or NB-IoT, and roaming is supported.
The Singtel SIM Management Platform provides enterprises with real-time status of all their connected devices as well as real-time diagnostics of changing network conditions and device behaviour. This allows the enterprise to make changes on the fly to improve or scale their IoT operations, monitor usage for better budget management and identify potential issues for timely intervention to ensure service reliability. Integration to your own IoT platforms is possible through APIs.
